Ya know, ya never appreciate how competent backup NFL players are until ya watch the second half of a preseason game with rookies tripping over each other, begging to get themselves cut.

Things are strange in the mile high it's august and the Rockies are still relevant.

That said I am so glad football is back. I already like the new Steelers coach he is firey as they come.

After last night's game against the 'Skins, I can see that Tomlin kept Cowher's third down defense intact, lol! And maybe its' time he quit auditioning people for the o-line and begins to put a starting unit together - otherwise, he may have to carry 6 QB's and AFLAC.

Things are SOS in the 'Burgh - the Pirates still aren't relevant ;-)

And it will be interesting to see how Tomlin works out - if he can cobble together a line and avoid players dropping (the team's not terribly deep), the Stillers could be a playoff club again.

The Broncos have gained all the help they needed on d today Rice will look nice in the orange and blue I was starting to worry that we would become a shoot out team.

We have huge question marks here but more upside than any other team in the league. I would watch for this offense to be more potent than the Chargers even.

A major infusion of talent + the catalyst of a tragic off season could make this years team an unstoppable force.

Can't tell much from the Stiller's opener, except that Brady Quinn will be the Brownie's QB next time around. Charlie Frye just sucks, and by the time they yanked him, the game, for all intents and purposes, was over. Oh, and the Steeler's don't play cover 2 very well, tho they did lay out a couple of guys while they were in it. Gave up globs of yards, too.
One lol moment - watching the pregame talking heads, Boomer asked Coach Chin how he thought Big Ben would play this year, now that he has a coach that trusts him. For once, Cowher was speechless, ROTFL!
